Hello all, I am currently enrolled in my first year of the Bachelors of Science in Nursing program at Georgian college/York U. In my first year, I am placed in a geriatric complex continuing care rehabilitation unit, and have gained immense knowledge on senior care. After completion of my first year, I am legally eligible to work as PSW (personal support worker), and am eager to help out in the geriatric setting if possible! I have gained lots of experience with feeding, bathing, transfers, and much more, and I am hoping to help you feel like your family member is safe in my care. I have also gained experience working as a maid for a chalet, and am capable to do house hold chores while taking care of your loved ones. I have been working weekly in a geriatric complex continuing care rehabilitation unit in Orillia hospital in training to become a Registered Nurse. This provides me with lots of experience with transfers, bathing, over all hygiene care, social interaction, feeding, and much more.
