Elder Care in Granite City, Illinois

I am looking to work 8 to 10 hour shift on Tuesday, Thurday and Fridays (days) within 15 miles from Granite City, Illinois I specialize in Healthcare settings of a hospital and homecare. My expertize is dementia, alzheimers, med surge patients and therapy. I have worked with Diabetics, feeding tubes, colostomy bags........ I am a Patient Care Technician is in charge in helping the patient in doing even the simplest thing. I don’t only bring the food tray to the patient but there are times when they need to be fed. I will make sure that patient’s has drinks ready on their bedside and replenish them as needed. (Most ederly dehydrate themself for fear if they drink, they have to urinate which is scary for them to keep running to the restroom). I have worked with patients who have obscurity with their mobility. I also help them turn and position themselves in bed and gives support to patient if they have trouble in walking. I also help patient with their hygiene such as bathing and dressing. Patient’s vital sign is a good indicator of the condition of a patient and a way for doctors and nurses to assess them. I would them safe for there keeping them safe from indicator conditions. I will run errands to which ever the family needs.......
