When I go by, visit your elder, I will:
Assess mental and physical well-being as well as signs of loneliness
Assess the home for safety;
Fill medication boxes
Run errands
Accompany my client to medical providers, "translate" medical terminology and help ask the right questions and relay recent assessments
Review medical billing and medical records to determine correct billing
Interface with your insurance company to attempt to get denied claims paid
Provide a short-term respite for the caregiver to enable them to get out for a few hours.
