I am looking for non-medical Companion Caregiver placement with a lady or a husband and wife. I have been working as a caregiver for over 3 years. I have absolutely loved each of my clients. The tasks provided have been light house keeping such as vacuum, dust, sweep/mop, organize and tidy up. This includes cleaning the bathroom wiping down surfaces, and cleaning toilet. I may spray and rinse shower/tub but I do not scrub them. Other housekeeping may include a load of laundry, empty dishwasher, change linens. Some tasks may be completed weekly rather than daily. No deep cleaning unless we have agreed on the task and with increased pay or extra pay per task, Other tasks may be shopping for client, transport to appointments or events (with pay for mileage or gas.) Also preparing meals as requested, as well to offer personal care when needed such as help with bath, dressing etc. I also enjoy gardening and would be delighted to help with potting flowers and plants. All tasks are flexible and a workable schedule and list can be accomplished with each client individually. I love animals and will be delighted to help you with your pets, even horses or small farm animals. No reptiles, rodents or aggressive animals please. My favorite part of the job is companionship and I much prefer working with someone who is a conversationalist. My hours are flexible but I prefer 30hours a week. I do not work between sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. With my present company I am often requested as a caregiver because I am gentle, kind, and conscientious. I have a tendency to be thorough and detailed while consistently attempting to please my clients whom I consider my friend. I appreciate and work best with interaction and communication with the client in order to understand exactly what and how they desire something done. On the other hand once I know, I do not like to be micro-managed. I make it my goal to do everything my client desires and needs within my ability to do so and in a timely manner. I do not climb ladders, nor handle valuable items in the home. I tidy and wipe down surfaces but I do not scrub. I do not enter private areas without permission. I do not lift over 25 pounds. I enjoy organizing drawers, pantries, closets etc. While I love my job my goal is to make a friend and to create and environment of peace, trust and safety in the clients home so that he/she may be confident with me present. I am willing to drive to a surrounding area of Shreveport/Bossier. My placement must be in a safe area, in a safe home. References required.
