Most of my clients were wheelchair bound. standing pivot, Hoyer, and slings were common for transfers, I basically assist or help them do their personal care or I do it for them, cook, help feed, and clean for them. . Mostly I act as their hand and feet. (dial and hold telephone for them, turn the newspaper pages, feed, flick channels, etc. ) Run errands and do grocery shopping for them.
