Greetings! I am writing in response to your recent job posting for the position of Personal Support Worker. The position fits very well with my skills, experience, and career interests. I am seeking a full-time, live-in, permanent role. I hope that I could take care of someone who is within the City of Toronto and is willing to sponsor me under the TFW Program for Eldercare. My recent previous work was for a nanny position for a private employer in Milton, Ontario. I did full charge housekeeping, changing the twins's diapers, day and night clothing, meal preparation for the family, helped in doing groceries, and accompanies the mother in taking them to the clinic, whenever possible. My previous experience with an elderly was in Vancouver when I worked for Classic LifeCare. My clients in the agency varied from Alzheimer's Disease to Multiple Sclerosis. I am well familiar with all the basic duties of a home-health aide professional, which you have described in the job posting. Activities like dressing, bathing, general hygiene and cleaning are my specialties that I will be offering to the elderly and disabled. I am efficient, patient and highly compassionate about each patient, and I thoroughly enjoy what I have been doing. With that, my education, can-do approach, attention to detail, and enthusiasm will help make a huge contribution to the patients. I know in my heart that I would therefore like to enhance my craft in nursing and grow in the process. The preferences that the job entails are highly interesting and extremely functional.
