Elder Care in Irvine, California

My experience is mostly in caring for my own Grandparents and my Mother before she passed away from cancer. I speak and read English. I am able to read aloud, know my history very well (as in knowing many of the songs from the 40-60's era of music in addition to knowing what was going on way back in the day), help feed, and make multiple wellness checks weekly (and report back to loved ones via text, email or phone calls). I can do dishes, vacuum, dust, rearrange furniture, a load or two of laundry (if needed) and do a bit of grocery shopping (list provided please so that it's based on their needs - especially if diabetic or on a strict diet). There is nothing that helps those in nursing homes more than visits and doing things with someone who has their whole attention - playing Scrabble, Yatzi, or Phase 10 for example was a favorite of my Grandparents. I am very comfortable with older generations and enjoy their company.
