Elder Care in Kelowna, British Columbia

I hope you are having a good day. I'm seeking an elder care/general care/companion provider work opportunity in Kelowna, British Columbia. I haven't provided specificcare before but I do have my Bachelor of Social Work degree & social service worker diploma. I have studied various elder care and elder abuse problems that are sometimes found if a wrong care provider is accidently selected. I have worked hard to ensure that i have the skills and know how to protect vulnerable populations. Plus I am Available now! I am not exactly sure what skills are needed, but I can try to help/learn. I do have a couple of personal limitations myself, but I am smart, friendly and am also an optimistic person. I am not able to do much in the way of lifting or cleaning,etc due to being involved in couple of car accidents that I was NOT at fault for and can provide you with my clean drivers abstract. I might have personal transportation available later if assistance getting to appointments, etc if this turns out to be a match for us, but it is only a car and I would need to update my insurance prior to doing any work driving. I have have not been an official caregiver before and this is actually my first time applying or putting myself out there on a profile such as this, but I also have a clear criminal history, including the vulnerable sectors check. I have had to get that checked a few different times due to my education type work and the fact that my parents provide foster care servce. Please let me know if any of this interests you for a care provider, but if a situation matchs for us.
