I am looking for a caregiver/support worker opportunity in Toronto, Ontario working directly for a family in the individual's home, hospital (ie palliative care or extra support during a stay) or providing supplementary care in a long-term facility. I am a seasoned professional with 20 years of PSW related professional experience supporting children, youth, adults and elderly with varying challenges and conditions, including: mental health; developmental challenges; acquired brain injury; dual diagnosis; medical; physical; and behavioural challenges. PSW Certificate * More related education and certifications available for review Current First Aid, CPR-HCP Cleared vulnerable police record check Immunizations up-to-date • Lifts and transfers • Feeding, g-tube • Personal Care • Experience with delegated tasks (catheterization, trach care, bowel management, oxygen therapy, medication administration-oral, enteral, subcu, wound care) • Housekeeping • Fluent in English and familiar with ASL Currently, flexible availability to accommodate your needs. Providing services in East York and surrounding area (Within boundaries of 401 to Queen Street, Bathurst to Kennedy, preferably but negotiable). Wage is negotiable.
