Elder Care in Calgary, Alberta

Good day everyone! My name is Nhel and I have almost 5 years of experience in the field of Recreation Therapy. Prior to this, I have cared for an elderly gentleman as well as my grandfather for almost 2 & 1/2 years; both had Mild Dementia. Currently, I am holding a part time position as a Recreation Therapy Aide in a Long Term Care facility for more than 2 years now. I am compassionate, creative, patient, a hard worker, and I am confident that I will be able to deliver the services required of me in an efficient manner. If given the chance, I would be very glad to work for a kind, understanding & loving elderly/family. I have cared for an elderly gentleman who suffered from stroke and had mild Dementia as well as took care of my grandfather from 2007-200.... I administered medications, helped them in their personal hygiene, activities of daily living, recreational activities & housekeeping. I started my career as a Recreation Therapy Aide in 2008, specifically in a Long-Term Care setting. At present, I am working as a part time Recreation Therapy Aide, still in a Long Term Care facility.
