Elder Care in Toronto, Ontario

Good day! My name is Taylor Thornton. I recently moved to Toronto from Ottawa. After I graduated High School I had the pleasure of working with many people - mainly senior citizens. I have completed half of the Developmental Service Worker program at Algonquin College back in Ottawa. I am looking for full time work so I can continue my education but more importantly gain more experience and establishing relationships with people who need extra care. I am a very patient, caring, positive and professional person. Helping people with special care needs is what I am passionate about. I love making positive differences in peoples lives. I have worked in a retirement residence for 2 years after High School. I worked in the hospitality department but when I delivered meals up to residents I would help them with chores, prepare meals and just socialize with them. I have cared for injured and sick family members. Duties include the above but also comforting them bathing them.
