Good day. I am a recent graduate of a LOng term Care aide Program here in BC. I also took and passed my Professional Dementia class and currently enrolled in Advance Medication. Talking about stand out, I can say I am one of a \\\\\\\"jack of all trades\\\\\\\', as a mother I\\\\\\\'m doing all the household chores, as a professional I am a Secondary teacher way back in the philippines and now as a caregiver whom I proven to myself that I can dealt with elderly with some special care needed.
I have taken care of seniors during my practicum in one of the facility in Surrey, BC, with a partner I manage to take care 7 persons, all of them with Dementia and other related cases. I am also a volunteer of Stroke Recovery.Our clients are all Stroke victim and mostly seniors. During my stay with them I've tested my patience, respect, compassionand love for the elderly.
