Elder Care in Calgary, Alberta

Good afternoon families. My name is Siobhan and I am a 30 year old mother of 1 living in Ireland. I am in the process of applying for a working holiday visa for Canada. I anticipate to be living in Calgary by December 2014/January 2015 and will be looking for work once my son is settled in school. My background is in childcare and social care and I would like to find work as a nanny, babysitter or working in a nursery or with adults with special needs. I have worked with children with mental health, intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviour. I have 3 months work experience in this area as part of a degree course here in Ireland in Social Care. I also have a qualification in childcare. As part of the social care work, I helped children in their every day life, working along their care plans. This included but is not limited to daily living skills, school work, daily activities, outings.
