I am a licensed nurse currently in Saudi Arabia with 3 years experience working in a tertiary hospital seeking for a long-term live-in/out elderly caregiver position under LMIA program As an elderly caregiver, I had 3 years experience in long stay medical ward where in majority of our clients are bed ridden with different medical cases such CA, MI, Diabetes, CVA, VA, Dialysis client, and so fort. I had my current certificates for FIRST AID through RED CROSS, CPR and ACLS through center that are affiliated by AMERICAN HEALTH ASSOCIATION. I had my trainings also on how to handle animal bite person through San Lazaro Hospital. I am competent and comfortable in handling elders. EMPLOYMENT HISTORY GERIATRIC NURSE Assist doctors in providing healthcare and support to elderly client. Help to bathe bedridden client to prevent ulcer. Doing dressings/wound care to client with bed ulcers and diabetic foot. Understand clients medications and administer them to clients as and when due. Help to conduct regular screenings and check up to the client. Help to assess the cognitive skills and mental status of their patients. Assists doctors with medical examinations and administer prescribed treatments. Observe, understand, and manage peculiar old age health concerns such like incontenence, insomnia, loss of strength and appetite, sexual issues as well as mobility challenges.
