A senior Caregiver, properly trained for 8 years, both in-house and on-the-job, in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly, taking care of patients with limited mobility, usually male. Well acquainted with the use of a Hoyer Hydraulic Lift, to lift and move patients around. Have CPR training and was able to apply the Heimlich Maneuver twice on one patient and once on another, to relieve them of choking and save their lives. also applied CPR on another patient. Attends to the usual personal and hygienic needs of the patient, medication administration, feeding and rehab exercises. also did minor repair and maintenance jobs around the house. I am an engineer by profession.
