SEEKING FULL-TIME LIVE IN CAREGIVER FOR ELDERLY WOMEN A full-time live in caregiver is required for elderly women residing in quiet south Saskatchewan community. The home is newer and spacious and the town is located near Regina. Candidate must be caring and compassionate and understand the needs of the elderly. Duties to include: o Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, groceries etc . o Assist in activities of daily living such as personal care, dressing, bathing etc. o Assist client with taking medication o Prepare meals according to diet o Monitor client’s blood pressure and blood sugar testing o take client for doctors appointment (as needed) Start date- ASAP Accommodation: private room in the residence of the elderly; No charge for room and board Language skills: ability to speak, read, write in English in an unsupervised setting Experience: minimum 2 to 3 years experience in elderly care or training in related field. First Aid/CPR would be an asset. Must provide current criminal record check. Compensation: good compensation for good candidate
