I have been a Caregiver since 1980. I am certified in First Aid and CPR and Blood Pathogens. I can administer medications , care for wounds, all manners of housekeeping, and are an excellent cook. I have been working with those who suffer from Dementia, Alzthiemers, Parkinsons, COPD, Diabetes, Colostomy's, and broken hips. I am a trustworthy and dependable person with a good sense of humor. I am capable of any kind of transfer being from chair to bed, or to car whatever it calls for. I can play just about any board game with a mean game of gin under my belt. There really isn't to many things that I have not done or cannot do. I worked in Hospice in the early 1980's for over 3 years and always like to keep family up to date and informed. I take daily notes to not only show family or doctors but to stay consistent. I also take a daily vidal signs and keep a record of those too. So you see there isn't anything that I could not handle in a home or facility situation. I am now working for Arden Courts in Towson as a resident Caregiver, however I would like more time to make it full time work which is what I am looking for right now.
