Elder Care in San Diego, California

I am a 35-year-old female who has 5 full years experience working with Senior Citizens. I did a year long Internship through San Diego State University where I worked with the elderly who had Dementia, Alzheimer's, Bipolar and Schizophrenia. I have a B. A. degree from SDSU in Psychology, and I have come to know human behavior quite well as a result. I also have a full year experience working with a couple whose grandmother has dementia and needed my care. I was responsible for cooking, cleaning, errands, medication, personal hygiene, and of course the most important aspect of all, companionship. I am very caring, understanding and organized. I am available for part-time work right away. I have my own transportation with very clean record. I can also submit to a background check or finger printing without any hesitation. I love working with the elderly because I believe they are the jewels of society. They are wise, experienced, and have a lot to offer. In my eyes, they are not forgotten. Things I like to do with your loved one (if they are up for it) are very simple. I love going for walks, playing cards, board games, bingo, reading to them, listening to the radio, watching TV, discussing current events, and just providing all-around excellent care.
