Elder Care in Whitby, Ontario

Good day, I live in north Oshawa, but for some reason I cannot change it, although I have tried many, many times, and I apologize about that. I am a former R.N., and am now a practising PSW, with over 35 years experience, with my main area of expertise being Geriatric care, ( Dementia & Alzheimer's patients, etc. ) and special needs clients. Responsibilities; medication administration, colostomy & Ileostomy care, dressing applications, experience with Oxygen, IV's, catheters, Diabetic care & Glucose monitoring, Intake & Output measuring, TPR, BP, suture removal, wound care, fractures & cast care, plus additional R.N. experience, personal care, dressing changes, transferring, lifting, feeding, general housekeeping, shopping, respite care, palliative care, working with special needs clients, and I also have training with assisting a physiotherapist with stroke survivors. I am available for palliative and respite care as well, and I also provide personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, ADLs, as well as many other services. I am compassionate, empathetic, and take great pride in my profession, and have always been an advocate for the elderly and their rights. I also have additional diplomas in Drug & Alcohol Counselling, and Social Servises Worker. I have my own vehicle, available at any time, and live in Oshawa.
