Nice to meet you! My name is Della. I am looking to provide "Eldercare" living in Englewood. I am a passionate and caring retired mom of four boys and four grandchildren who would like to help you in any way possible. I do not have any licenses but I do have a lot of compassion and experienced taking care of elderly family members with complicated medical conditions. I took care of and provided: medication dispensing, prepared meals, helped with feeding, speech therapy, and light exercise, for my paternal grandfather, for 5 years, who was paralyzed from the waist down from a stroke. I aided my paternal grandmother, who was diabetic and insulin dependent, with her medication and housekeeping. I was witness and caretaker to my maternal grandmother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's until it was unsafe for her to be left alone and needed around the clock care. I grew up with and spent at least 40 years with my Aunt who had Down Syndrome. She was amazingly the most loving and caring person I ever knew. She was happy, funny, and easy to be with. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She taught me compassion and acceptance of others.
