Elder care in Bowmanville, Ontario

I am a very compassionate, caring person and always treat others with dignity and respect. I am also very personable and friendly and just enjoy helping others.

I am not a registered or certified Personal Support Worker, however I have many years of experience in providing care to the elderly and to individuals with various challenges. I have worked for The Ontario March of Dimes, The Association for Community Living, and several private clients. I also have extensive volunteer experience....please feel free to ask me about it!

I am able to provide assistance with the following: personal and attendant care; daily activities/routine; life skills, cleaning/laundry/meal plan & prep; physical transfers (with or without a lift); various medical tasks such as monitoring blood sugar, track/order/administer medications as required, catheter care, skin care, administer and monitor oxygen; palliative or end of life care.

Aside from my work and volunteer experience, I have provided care and palliative care for many relatives. My experience also extends to my own children to whom I have provided (and still provide) post operative care, injections, medications, physical therapy (following a prescribed protocol), dressing and wound care.
