Elder Care in Pennsville, New Jersey

I recently cared for a 91-year-old woman in her home for 12 months. I was responsible to assist her with daily personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping and the usual daily activities. She had suffered two strokes, a fractured pelvis and increasingly profound Alzheimer's disease. I applied patience, practiced being extremely attentive with her and engaged her mind by talking, reading and playing music for her. I was responsible in daily communication with her family, doctors and nurses. I am passionate for what I do because I believe the elderly are often tossed aside in our society simply because they have "lost their youth." Our elderly are our chance to live out the "history" we are taught in school. I treat everyone with the respect and honesty they deserve and that which I can only hope for when I become elderly.
