Elder Care in Washington, District of Columbia

i became a caregiver for many different reasons such as developing my personal strength, increasing my self confidence and sharing with others.I enjoy working with the elderly as i am able to make someone who is unable to help themselves or is somewhat unhappy, smile. Being a caregiver give me the opportunity to help them feel comfortable in their new environment away from home, by listening to their life experience and historic stories. Working with the elderly helps me to give back to the community in a positive way which helps me feel a sense of peace and accomplishment
