Elder Care in North Bay, Ontario

We had hired Carole Beaulieu as a caregiver for our mother who had taken ill and had become bedridden. She assisted our mother by encouraging her to eat, by administering medication, by helping her develop positive routines and by answering to her basic daily needs. After a couple of weeks, our mother had to be admitted to the hospital. Carole visited 2 to 3 hours daily. Because of her positive influence, my mother was discharged and returned to her home instead of an old age home. During the integration and adaptation into her home, Carole cared for her 24 hours a day, at times. She prepared meals, assured the physiotherapy exercises, administered her medication, and guided her to be positive and happy. After a couple of months, my mother was walking, dressing, conversing and re establishing a constructive lifestyle. We are convinced that our mother’s recovery was greatly due to Carole’s devotion, authentic care, empathy and professional work. She made our mother her priority and we are very grateful for the quality of care that she gave her. Our mother’s successful transition back home from the hospital was thanks to Carole and now, after 3 years, she is still functioning very well in her own home.
