Elder Care in Edinburg, Texas

I provide adult care services serving the west Rio Grande Valley to Laredo, Texas areas. I am educated, and recently just completed about a year and a half with severe special needs child, with a dog that I also cared for, but needed to be kept away from the child. But one of the care agencies I am with recently thought I would be good with the elderly that need assistance as well. I have fallen for caring for people at this point in my life, but should have seen it coming long ago. I visited and cared for the elderly when I was an elder and deacon at church, and ran the "game night" for years at the church I was a member of in Round Rock, Texas, and just loved it. I am 48 years old, so am a responsible adult, and have kept active and am even stronger after carrying around the special needs child when she could not walk on her own. I love to hear about "the old days," love to play cards and board games, but never get to on my own, so that is just a fit for this type of work. I was also fortunate enough to be able to spend much time caring for my grandfather, then my grandmother, just before each of them passed a few years apart.
