June 1, 2018 To Whom It May Concern It is my pleasure to recommend Ms. Toni Barr for any position as a Seniors Caregiver. I hired Toni in December 2017 to provide live-in care for my 86-year-old mother who was suffering from dementia and cancer. While looking for the right care giver we had hired a home care agency who provided workers to come in during the day while going though an extensive interview and trial process for the position. I am grateful that Toni applied for the job and came in for the interview to meet my mother. Of all the candidates interviewed, I felt that Toni was the best person to help with my mother’s care. From the start I could see that Toni is a very compassionate person who fit in very well with our family. She provided my mother with the best care possible and helped relieve the stress of dealing with someone with dementia. The first month Toni provided live-in care in my parent’s home during the week and assisted with all my mother’s daily needs including helping prepare meals, feeding, personal hygiene, and monitoring pain medications with the guidance of the family. As a live-in Toni was there to aid at night as well which was wonderful to have the continuity of care. Toni also volunteered to provided light house cleaning and laundry for my father which she did while mother slept. The second month Toni provided companion care during the day time after my mother was moved to a hospice until she passed. If you have any questions as to Toni’s role as a live-in caregiver, please do not hesitate to contact me by asking Toni for my phone number. Sincerely, Douglas C Calgary, AB

To whom it may concern, Toni worked for me in the role of a caregiver for my wife who suffered from late stage ALS and was almost totally disabled. She was in my employ from July 2021 until July 2022 when she left us to deal with some personal issues. While Toni was with us she helped with the day to day care of looking after my wife while I was working. In general terms this consisted of the following tasks: 1. Making her food and feeding via G-tube. 2. Administering and monitoring daily medications and supplements. 3. Assisting with my wife’s ventilator and use of a cough assist machine when required. 4. Assisting my wife with regular range of motion and other physical therapy exercises defined buy a physiotherapist. 5. Using ceiling lift to transfer my wife to wheelchair as required. 6. Assisting my wife with day to day hygiene activities and toileting. In addition to the activities mentioned above, Toni provided companionship to my wife while I was working and also assisted her with any other issues that she need help with. Toni was also diligent about making notes about any protocol changes that were required and following them accurately. I found Toni to be very personable and responsible and I believe these traits made a significant difference to my wife’s state of mind during a very difficult time. I have no problem recommending Toni for any similar position. If you have any specific questions I can be contacted any time by phone on (587) 899-5478. Don Foster
