My name is Eugene Vazquez and I have been a Direct Support Professional for 2 years. I am very interested in the Caregiver position. My skillsets are a direct fit for this position as I have given professional support to special needs adults with physical and mental disabilities. I care deeply for those who are in need and work to give them a higher quality of life. I enjoy getting to know my clients personally so I can support them on a emotional level as well. As a member of a Day Program for special needs adults, I know the importance of staying active and being a part of the community. With my clients, I encourage games that stimulate the mind and exercises that help improve range of motion. I have worked with seniors and know the level of care and supervision they require to be safe during daily activities. When handling medication I take it very seriously, paying attention to the right time, dose, and route. If there ever is an emergency I know CPR and how to react in case of an earthquake or fire.
