did respite care for a lady who had her voicebox removed and a Tracheo-oesophageal puncture that needed to be kept clean and germ free, this lady also had full custody of a teenager with mental and physical disabilities. my days began with making sure the teen had everything he needed to be ready for school and get to the bus stop which was just outside, then i would have to get medicine and breakfast ready. after that there was cleaning the trache and making sure it wasnt causing any discomfort. i also did house work during the day when i was there and all meal and meal prep. assisted with bathing
