Elder Care in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Hi, My name is Robin. I'm looking to find a position where I can share my compassion and kind ways with those that spend most of their time at home, or possibly need a day out and about. I have done a variety of care at many levels. I am a retired dental hygienist and had elderly patients that I loved working with. . I have also volunteered in the local schools with children and nursing homes for the past 13 years, and the last 8 years, as a volunteer with Hospice at Waldo County General Hospital and also mediating bereavement groups for those grieving the loss of a loved one. I have deep empathy and also find great interest and I have high respect for my elders and what better way to appreciate them, but to tell them and show them. I have always had a deep interest in the older generation and how I can make life easier as they progress in abilities. I enjoy chatting, walking, playing games, whatever they would like to do. I can also do light housekeeping and meals, if needed. I'm available to give relief for family members or assist family members with their loved ones and you can be assured that I am honest and sincere and believe in respect for your loved one.
