Elder Care in Whiting, New Jersey

First of all, I learned early in my senior care career that the key to successfully working with residents and families is patience and understanding. I have been working with the Alzheimer/Dementia population for over 5 years. I love working with them. Most times seniors just need companionship, someone to listen to them, comfort them/hold their hand, etc. I am willing to sit with your loved one if you just need a few hours to get out of the house for piece of mind (because you need a little break too). I have worked at a senior care company (nursing home) for years. I also took care of my 92-year-old mom for 2 years and since helping her, I felt the need to help others. I found my passion in life after taking care of my mom. Sometimes, all seniors need is a companion for a few hours as they do get very lonely. I was also a "visiting angel" which provided companionship services. I worked part-time as a companion to an 85-year-old woman taking her to the doctors, store, light housekeeping. I can provide excellent references. I am very patient, loving and caring. I can be available for a few hours a day or the whole day. I would like to work in the Whiting section of Manchester Township. My only issue is that I currently do not have a car.
