Hello! My name is Lorraine and I am a caregiver in the Philippines. I am applying through Canada’s Caregiver Program I have a formal training in caregiving and attended CPR and First Aid training. Additionally, I was an intern at a private hospital where I was assigned as a caregiver at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and General Nursing Unit (GNU). I am currently a live-out nanny to a sweet two-year-old boy. He is my constant companion during weekdays and I assist him in his daily activities. In addition, I also had infant experience as I was my sister's company when she gave birth. During weeknights, I look after my three-year-old nephew's needs, and on weekends, I babysit my two-year-old nephew. Prior to my caregiving career, I was an educator for seven years. I taught children from ages 3-16 years old and I also spent wonderful time working with some students with special needs. With regards to the qualifications required by the pilot, I have already taken my IELTS and got a CLB 9. I also had my education assessed by World Education Services (WES) Canada, which has a Canadian equivalency of "Bachelor's Degree." I am fully vaccinated as well.
