Elder Care in Palatine, Illinois

I am a senior at Augustana College, double majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Neuroscience. I am looking to specialize in Geriatrics going forward in my career, directly with memory care and degenerative disorders. Currently during school I work in a Speech Pathology and Audiology practice where I give intervention in speech, language and hearing disorders. I am American Red Cross certified in CPR and first aid, as well as have experience working with individuals with intellectual and physical deficits in my past job as an Inclusion Aide through the North West Special Recreation Association. Currently, I am working part-time at an assistive and independent senior living establishment. I am determined to have every patient have the highest quality of life
