I had the opportunity to apply excellent patient-centred care and organizational skills in various population groups, home health and long-term care environments. As you will see from my resume, I am in the process in completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing through Ryerson University. I have also successfully obtained certificates in First-Aid and CPR. While working as a student nurse in long-term care environments and community health settings, I have consistently demonstrated my ability to work independently and also as a contributing member of a health care team, including but not exclusive to working with fellow personal support worker’s, nurses and physicians, all while providing the highest possible level of patient care. In previous clinical experiences as a nursing student, I have monitored and recorded behavioural changes to assist the health care team in determining appropriate treatments and administering medications. I have created health-promotion programs for individual and group activities. I have worked within a fast-paced environment and am familiar with paper and computer record keeping.
