Dear Family, My name is Mignon Angelica C. Santiago, a registered nurse from the Philippines. I am currently here in New Jersey, U.S.A. visiting my relatives. I would like to relocate to Canada under the livein caregiver program. As stated above, I worked in a Military hospital catering to active soldiers and their dependents.I was assigned in the Pediatric and Pulmonary ward. Having been in the Geriatric Pulmonary department raised my skills and knowledge with handling seniors not only related to health care but also to their daily routines. I also have wide experience with tube feedings and the like. I also have done heavy lifting and turning of patients. I also have no problems changing diapers, linens and giving bed bath or attend to personal hygiene. I also know how to change oxygen tanks and take care of people with respiratory problems common in seniors such as COPD, Pneumonia and Asthma.
