Dear Family My name is Beryl, I am 55 years old. For most of my life I lived in Calgary and have recently returned to Canada after residing in Mexico for 20 months\'. In the time I took off from my nursing career I obtained a certificate in medical transcription. I did not choose a career in nursing it chose me when I lived in a small town where the only real place of employment was a long term care facility. I found how the simplest of things like a smile, a kind word, a listening ear could make a difference in the lives of the people I was caring for and I found this to be very rewarding.
