Resume Summary: My name is Misty Mitchell, I’ve been in the healthcare field since 1996. I began my journey while attending nursing school at one of the local hospitals! This allowed me the experience In multiple facets of medical, social and emotional needs of ones well being. I continued my journey landing in home care. I have worked in home health, rehab, memory care as well as found my passion to be in end of life care providing hospice care. I spent my last 15 yrs in hospice and palliative care. I then took care of my mother, my best friend at home while battling cancer. I lost her in 2015. I can truly empathize on the importance of care within their home. There are so many preventives that can be managed. I feel this is my purpose.
