Elder Care in Waterloo, Iowa

My work so far has been in dementia /alzheimer care but also I have extensive experience with children whom I also love very much . I do my work at this time on a temporary basis and my 2 companion med.size dogs (a Lab and a small Shep/x ) are both very kind animals who work with me . Currently my work is for an 82 yr old and I adore her but it's sporadic and I need more work . The area I work in needs to be in the USA and have other help if needed that is long term . I can manage help I do have a business background but prefer to stay focused on the need I am hired for . A family in tune with the loved ones conditions really helps alot . One of the dogs , Dakota the Shep x , insists on sleeping near the 82 yr old who adores dogs , even in her most difficult moments, he seems to know what she needs . He comes to get me during the nite if she moves a muscle during the nite . Nobody has ever taught him a thing . He knows how fragile she is and her needs are great . For this reason and because I love my dogs I am looking for an atmosphere where we are welcome ,not tolerated and treated kindly . Of course we offer the same . I lived in Iowa 47 yrs ,moved to Fl for 18 yrs ,moved back to Iowa after smoke from fires caused me to leave the area . I have copd (a basket for varying upper respiratory issues like asthma and other diseases . Normally I am ok but must have AC liberally as well as a dust and chemical free home . If you feel you are interested please write me and let me know what your loved ones needs are as well as your expectations and job detail . Your help is much appreciated and most welcome are current pictures of home and loved one as well . Though I need an income and I need my work to be able to afford me ,I don't need a castle . In fact , I am really in love with barns lol . Until this year I was a horse owner . Thanks for your time and possible help .
