I am Bernardita Lauguico-Laus. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines. I recently finished my degree in Master in Nursing at Adventist University of the Philippines. My major or specialty is caring for the Elderly and Palliative Care. I have handled several patients in terminal conditions like cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer's, pulmonary disease, etc. Normally i give palliation and end-of-life support to patients in the final stage of life, across all ages. I have handled nursing services with patients needing care and support in a palliative institution. I have handled position in tertiary hospital in supportive, palliative and hospice care department. I managed a department where executive check-up is processed everyday. I have the compassion to care for elderly patients and I am equipped with knowledge in handling such patients. I am also experienced and have developed a proficient skills in dealing with them holistically. Due to this experience, I have developed a positive attitude towards people who are suffering from the illness and I can deal with them in a compassionate way with nursing ability.
