Hi there! My name is Courtney and I have a sincere passion for working with my elders! I specialize in hospice care! I will be the first to say it is not for everyone, but I believe it is my calling! The duties I perform are as follows: personal care, bath/ showers, meal preparation, medication reminders, reading, repositioning, an mild house cleaning! I can also accurately an competently discuss care with doctors and nurses a I have a medical background! I of course have CPR and other care taking skills. I can use a Hoyer lift and other mechanisms for patients unable to ambulate. I am a calm and quiet person by nature and this helps me in my field of work. I am easily able to adapt to quiet surroundings, and communicate effectively with hard o hearing ladies and gentleman. I also bring different activities to jog muscle memory and the mind.
