Elder Care in Bradenton, Florida

Compassionate Caregiver Position Wanted I am a 56 year old woman looking for a part-time to full-time position (around 20-30 hours a week or more if needed) caring for an elderly or medically needy person. I just moved to Bradenton from Jacksonville a week ago. I really need to start working again. I don't enjoy being idle and I truly do love caring for others. I have experience with caring for elderly persons and not so elderly, but still medically needy. I have very reasonable rates, and am negotiable. I am also available to stay overnight or longer of needed/ I am also very good with children of all aged. My daughter has three girls. I practically raised her first daughter from infant to almost two years old while my daughter worked. When she had the second baby she quit working. When she had the third baby, she stopped working again. She didn't know she was pregnant! She has now Gabby who is 4, almost 5 in Aug., and Izzy who will be 3 in Sept, and Bella who will be 1 in Oct. So I have lots of experience with all ages. I do like taking care of babies (especially infants) I just finished working for a medically needy woman who had severe medical problems and emotional problems also. I was there for a year and a half. She consistently got better month after month and was finally able to start caring for herself. I am now looking for a new person to care for. I truly enjoy caring for others. She has made it known to me and others, how well I cared for her and helped around the house with light housekeeping and cooking, as well as doing all of her errands, including her banking transactions, picking up medications and taking her to all of her doctors appointments as well as many other things. I am extremely trustworthy and loyal. I depend on the extra income to be able to pay my bills since my husband passed away almost 4 years ago. I spent a lot of time caring for my grandmother when she was in her 80's and 90's. I also took care of a woman who had been in a severe car accident years before. She was only 65 when I started caring for her. She was still so full of life and wisdom. This was about 5 years ago. She had deteriorated to the point where she had to have a lot of help getting around or even getting out of bed by herself. I bathed her, dressed her, cooked all meals and cleaned up, gave insulin shots and meds, took her to her doctor's appointments and ran whatever errands she needed done. I loved doing those things for her. I cared for her until her daughter moved her into a retirement home against her will.
