Hello, I began my work as a caregiver volunteering at a Hospice care center in high school. In college, I did a year long internship at the local community hospital with rotations in the geriatric unit, emergency room, Intensive care unit (ICU), and Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). For 3 years, I worked as a longtime caregiver for a good man. My time unfortunately ended with his death. I am a current graduate student pursuing a doctorate degree in clinical psychology. Providing home care services is more than a job for me. It is about providing comfort, companion, compassion, and love to those in their late stages of life. This work is great because of the people you meet and knowing that I am able to help in anyway, no matter how minimal the task may appear.
