My name is Lisa Burks, I have been a caregiver for the elderly for over 10 years,i have worked with all types of people, dementia ,neurhopty ,bed-ridden, cancer patients etc. I provide companion care which entails cooking ,light house cleaning, medication passes, grocery shopping, doctor appts .bathing and hygiene. I got interested in this when my mother was diagnosed with cancer and I couldn"t find a caregiver for her. I have also worked as a supervisor at a state facility for people with developmentally disabilities for 6 years before the state cuts. I am a person that loves what I do and I haven"t had any problems in the 10 years that I have been doing caregiving for the elderly.
