Elder Care in Jeffersonville, Indiana

I will provide companionship in order to promote social engagement at home and by visiting friends and family and any social events. Will lead in activities such as shopping and errands, appointments, reminiscing, gardening, scrapbooking, board games, and other interests the client may have. Homemaking duties include, but are not limited to, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping (such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, washing dishes, kitchen maintenance, etc.), personal laundry and linens, making the bed, organizing, pet care, plant care, picking up/taking out the garbage, and others duties at clients request. Personal & hygiene such as help with bathing, grooming, shaving, hair washing, hair brushing, dressing and skin care. For clients who are bedridden also assists with repositioning to avoid bed sores, adult briefs, sponge bath, and transfers. Will also provide medication reminders. Will document and report any changes in clients’ physical or mental statuses or major changes in clients’ home environments to the home care program and or family. Personal interests include; reading, cooking, movies, and participating in the music ministry at my church.
