Elder Care in Rochester, New York

I am interested in a job assisting the elderly. I have experience with all aspects of personal, non medical care. I am able to do light housekeeping, grocery shopping, laundry, meal prep, whatever needs to be done to help the elderly to stay in their own home as long as possible. I recently took care of an 85 yr old gentleman. What started out as visiting him 1 hrs per wk. Became a full time caregiver to him. I took complete care of him. He was very hard of hearing, was on oxygen, incontinent. I ran his whole household for him which included paying all his bills, hiring other care givers to be there when I wasn't making meals, grocery shopping, laundry, housework and in the end hospice care. I feel so blessed and honored to have been such an integral part of his life.
