Hello, my name is Suzanne I am 47 yrs old, I have been in healthcare since 1984. I stopped working in 2010 to be with my grandchildren, Thanks to my hard working husband I was able to be with my grand-kids and save my kids a ton of money not having the expense of Daycare. Now I'm ready to start working again and I wanted to get back into private care and pretty much make my own schedule. I have always worked nights but I'm flexible and it all depends on patients needs. I had 1 patient that I cared for for 5 yrs, I have done home health & hospice and I spent 10 yrs at ETMC-Athens with the last 4 of those yrs in the Emergency Dept. I specialize in elderly care and I am very highly experienced in every aspect of elderly care. I can do all vital signs, set up & monitor medications, check blood sugar, Foley catheter care as well as change them out when needed, colostomy care , g-tube, suction, personal care and also total care pt who are bed ridden, dementia care, etc etc etc. I also have a knack for dealing with patients that are hard to deal with, they usually become my favorite patients. I have never had any problems with anyone I have ever taken care of. I give my job 100% and go above and beyond in making sure they are taking care of. If at anytime I'm having problems or issues at home or work I don't worry my patients with my problems. That is just something that you do not do. When you are a caregiver the patients get very attached to you and they worry and it affects them, that is stress they do not need. I have excellent references and I am honest and dependable.
