I'm a nursing assistant with CPR/ First Aid certification and 16 years of experience working with the elderly and disable. I worked with families in Maryland, Washington DC and recently in New Jersey providing their loved ones with great care. My skills involved administering medication, bedside transfer with or without the hoyer lift, hygiene care, exercise range of motion, meals preparation and feeding, bolus peg feeding, urethra catherization, glucose monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, ,transport to doctors appointment,nebulizer treatment, suctioning, wound treatment, administering insulin shots. I also take my clients out to socialize among their peers or just simple walks engaging them in great conversations and activities to help keep them motivated.
