About Me: Hello my name is Dale Sharon. I am seeking a senior care provider placement in the Kawarthas. I am a caring, compassionate professional with 5 years of PSW experience. I am reliable, responsible, polite and organized, and I am passionate about what I do - I love helping seniors! I am certified, I have my Vulnerable Sector check and CPR/First Aid. I am committed to using a person-centered approach to care. I am currently employed with a large, national healthcare company and I would like to supplement my work hours, preferably with daytime hours during the week (with some flexibility) and I am also flexible to work some weekends. Description of Skills: I can take care of social support/companionship, personal care and hygiene, range of motion exercises, assisted ambulation, 1 person transfers, dressing wounds, medication reminders, activities of daily living and meal preparation and light household chores. I have experience with clients who have dementia, developmental delays, and traumatic brain injuries, as well as a wide variety of chronic health issues. I also have a drivers license and I am willing to travel within a 50 km radius depending on the hours and pay provided. With respect to previous training, I am certified by the York District Region School Board's PSW program and I have over 5 years of work experience providing elderly care.
