Elder Care Job in Ottawa, Ontario

Caregiver required for full-time position in single family bungalow home in Bells Corners. Caregiver would be taking care of an 88-year old woman. Your responsibilities would include providing assistance in dressing, bathing (a walk-in tub is provided), monitoring medication in-take, assistance in and out of bed, meal preparation, occastional laundry, companionship, and presence at appointments (transportation will be provided). Preference is for a live-in provider with flexible hours. Exact start date is not known but we anticpate sometime in February as she is recuperating in a health care facility currently. Requirements are atleast one-year expereriine with PSW training and references. Attributes of a caring and patient nature and sense of humour are sought.
