Elder Care in Raleigh, North Carolina

I currently care for one senior gentleman on the Sundays. I provide a bed bath for him as well as light cooking and cleaning. I have spent most of the past 14 years caring for my children. Before that I worked for a time at a group care facility for senior citizens. I helped them with daily chores, bathing and bedtime. I also loved leading group games that every member could participate in. I have also been trained as a CNA in the past and I am currently CPR certified. When I did have children one of the earliest things I did with my first born was set up a weekly time for us to go to the local nursing home and visit the residents. We walked the halls and I loved seeing their eyes light up at the sight of my little boy. As my kids have grown older we have taken other opportunities to visit with elders, and enjoy their company.
