I have experience working as an RN, I worked for 5 years caring for a child from age 1 1/2 to 6 1/2 as a home health nurse . I worked full time doing total care during my shift. I also helped the family in many household duties in addition to my nursing duties. Helping the family and making their day a little easier is part of why I enjoy what I do. Because the family I was working with had to move out of state. I've been looking for something similar.
RNs usually do the case management , however, I'd rather continue working with a family in their home . As an RN it is not as common to do shifts in the home, mostly LVN's are used.
